I don't think I've told you, but my aunt Mary and I, and my dad coach Kevin and Andy's basketball team. Now Kevin and Andy are only in 2nd grade, but they play with mostly 3rd graders I think. We've been playing for several weeks now, and Mary and my dad are ready to rip most of the kid's heads off. Myself, on the other hand, has more patience with kids some what close to my age so I relate to them more I guess. But I can also see why Mary and my dad are frustrated because the kids have an attention span the size of a gnat. Now we have been doing fairly well because we've only lost 1 game so far. We have another game tomorrow, I bet we"ll do good if the kids just try hard and slow the ball down. Wish us luck!
Always,
B-Sizzle
HI BAILEY,
ReplyDeleteI DO WISH YOUR TEAM LOTS OF LUCK. PLAYING THE GAME IS IMPORTANT, BUT WINNING DOESN'T HAVE TO BE ALL THE TIME, YOU ALSO HAVE TO ENJOY WHAT YOU ARE DOING WITHOUT STRESS. SO..
GOOD LUCK TO ALL. LOVE, AUNT RIZ

ReplyDeleteThank you for coaching - of course you KNOW I wish you were still playing so I could go back to coaching you - hopefully someday! It's been a rough season but all in all we've definitely had some laughs and fun times. If you're not playing next season - I hope you'll continue coaching w/me. Good luck in soccer next weekend - get 'er done Poodle : )!!
